Clay - 2018

Clay is a portrait of the iconic Muhammad Ali. The title is a play on Ali's birth name, Cassius Clay, as well as to compliment the colours used to paint him. It was also the intent to exhibit his sculptural structure, determined expression, and stoic pose. Although Ali is prominently known as one of the greatest sports icons of all time, he is also highly respected for his charismatic nature and inspiring impact during the Civil Rights Movement.
